beautiful
you may not see
this body through the
eyes of a hungry man
craving to ravage
it tear me open
pull me apart
like meat from the bone
your eyes might not
fall upon my curves
as they move beneath
my skirt in hurried steps
as i pass the whistles
and slurs of callous
animals in their
chainlinked construction
site cage
the beauty you see in me
is not skin deep
it plunges the leagues
of blood and bone
that you have swam through
with the oxygen i breathe to you
the beauty you see in me
is not wide open
it is the locked room
inside my heart and mind
that you have entered
with the key i gave you
the beauty you see in me
is not a straight line
it is the meandering road
through arteries and veins
that you have traveled
with the map i drew for you
the beauty you see in me
was first discovered by you
when you dared to explore
more than my shape
when you explored to dare
shape more than my beauty.
through only your eyes
i am real
through only your eyes
i am truly beautiful.

Solitude
I sit here
by the window,
thinking on our so called 'love'.
And I must
tell you about,
the reality which came to me.
All the times
I wanted you,
you never tried to be around.
You made promises
on many things,
and you broke every single one.
Often you said
you loved me,
except you never truly meant it.
When we loved
I gave myself,
though I know that you didn't.
Now it's over
between us both,
but you could probably care less.
So I sit
scared and lonely,
with only my solitude as comfort.
Literature
Tears
And yet I do cry for you and all those
who have gone before me
My tears leave me wretched with no
solace to be found
Mindless minions sent by egotistical
fanatics with no heart or soul
Such wrong can not be righted and
retribution to them is a form of flattery
Be tricked not into becoming just who
we despise and abhor
So kneel and pray and speak words
with depth and meaning
Walk tall and follow what is righteous
and have mercy for those in doubt
Innocents will always pay for what
we do not understand
Walking a lonely road with no
finality to a cause
Literature
I am beautiful because...
Look in the mirror. Tell me, what do you see?
Imperfect face. Is it misshapen and ugly?
Abnormal eyes. Are they tired and old?
Disgusting lips. Are they thin and cold?
Defective body. Is it too thick or too plain?
Not enough money. Is it all in vain?
Someone misunderstood. Is it all too much?
You feel alone. Untouched.
And sad. Destroyed.
A void.
Well, do you want to know what I see?
I see you.
I see your quirks. Your interest in something that consumes you and makes you outstanding.
I see you loved for exactly who you are by friends, family, significant others. Or else they wouldn't stick around.
I see your imperfect, wonderful face. A perf

tonight matt said to me:
"...everytime i look into your eyes i see more goddam beauty than ive ever seen, staring right through me and into whatever goddam shard of a soul ive ever had, pinnin me down and tellin me what life fuckin is .. thats what beauty is to me .. not the color in your eyes, not how wide they are, the eyebrows over em, but what they do to me, how they make me nearly die to be an inch from them, how they make my own swell with tears now cause i cant..."
